The state has authorized Rs 29 crore 40 lakh 81 thousand for seven distinct irrigation projects. As part of the Hasdeo Bango project in the Korba district, the Hasdeo bank canal’s bypass and power canal are being renovated. A C.C. Lining repair work and 100 to 4400 m. CC of the bypass canal will also be repaired. For the lining construction work, an amount of Rs. 3 crores of 85 lakh 14 thousand rupees have been approved. The construction of a cross regulator and escape channel on the Hasdeo bank canal has also been approved at the cost of Rs 3 crore 94 lakh 28 thousand. The building of the divisional office’s boundary wall at Irrigation Colony Rampur in Korba has been issued 1 crore 83 lakh one thousand rupees.
Three crores 42 lakh 57 thousand rupees will be used Minimata Bango project’s office complex and other structures in the Korba district, as well as for the renovation of the approach road and the replacement of the barings under the spillway bridge’s deck slab an amount of Rs. 1 Crore 44 lakh 13 thousand rupees have been approved. Work of installation of the guide rail in the irrigation sluice of Minimata Bango project dam, stop lock, to empty the water of bucket number 04, and E.D.P. Three crore 70 lakh 35 thousand rupees have been approved for the work of hard rock cutting. Rs 11 crore 21 lakh 23 thousand has been sanctioned for Gunjannala diversion scheme under development block-Pali of Korba district.
