Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel reached the Pirda village of Basna constituency today as part of his state-wide extensive Bhent Mulaqat program. Addressing the gathering,Mr. Baghel said that “the state government is going to complete four years of governance on December 17 and We have fulfilled every promise made to the general public including farmers,youth,women,students,tribals and will continue to do the same. The first promise was in the interest of farmers and it was fulfilled by waiving off the loans of farmers. Also,2500 Rs is being given to farmers for paddy including support price and input subsidy.The domestic electricity bill has also halved, We have also ensured our promises in the avenues of health,education and employment generation”.

During today’s Bhent Mulaqat program, the Chief Minister made several announcements for the development of the area on the request of public representatives and villagers. He announced the construction of new college building in Pirda, sub tehsil in village Pirda, establishment of Swami Atmanand school in village Sankara, the Chief Minister also announced the upgradation of Sankra and Pirda gram panchayats to Nagar Panchayat, construction of Gaurav Path in Nagar Panchayat Basna, construction of road from Sankra Parsavani Marg to Rikha Dadar, construction of new bridge on Kudekel drain.

Electricity bill will be halved for the industries that will be set up in Rural Industrial Park
Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that our aim is to increase the income of every one in the state. The state government is continuously working in the field of education, health and employment. For those who want to set up industries, a Rural Industrial Park is being set up in Gauthan at a cost of two crores. Space has been made available to the entrepreneurs for enterprises like telghani brick making etc., electricity is also being given to them at half rate. With this, not only will the entrepreneur attain self-employment, but he will also be able to provide employment to other people as well. He further said that people are getting the benefit of Chief Minister’s vishesh swasth sahayta yojna where assistance of up to Rs 20 lakh is being given. Free treatment is also being done at Haat Bazar Clinic. We have opened Swami Atmanand English medium School so that the underprivilaged children class can also get free education in English medium.

In today’s session, a resident farmer of Kesharpur who practices advanced farming, namely Tukaram, told the Chief Minister that his loan of Rs 01 lakh was waived off and he bought a Bolero car. Farmer Kuso, a resident of Saraibhadra, told the Chief Minister that he owns 80 decimals of land. He did not get the benefit of loan waiver from the society. On this, the Chief Minister ordered an inquiry regarding debt relief. Lalit Pradhan told that there is a loan of 2 lakh 73 thousand, he has already repaid a loan of 8 lakh to the Land Development Bank. On raising the loan related issue by Lalit Pradhan, the Chief Minister assured him for early settlement of the loan taken from the Land Development Bank. Ratni Bai told the Chief Minister that she does not have a ration card, it is in the name of her sons, but it has not been made her name, she has applied for the card two-three months ago. On this, the Chief Minister gave instructions to the Collector to get ration cards made immediately. The elderly lady Rajkumari told that rice, sugar, salt are all being provided with the ration card.
Mrs. Vimla Patel informed that an income of Rs. 01 lakh 32 thousand has been generated from vermicompost manufacturing, each member of the group has received Rs. 10 thousand for the same. Durga Mishra told the Chief Minister that five quintals of cow dung has been sold by her but the amount has not been received since 6 months. Hearing this, the Chief Minister instructed the Collector to conduct an inquiry immediately.
