Today, Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel reached Surpa Belhari village under the Patan development block of Durg district and participated in the program to mark the birth anniversary of Guru Ghasidas Baba, the founder of Satnam religion. The Chief Minister said that the message of unity, brotherhood, and harmony preached by Baba Guru Ghasidas has a special contribution to uniting the people of the society. He said that the ‘Right to Equality’ written in the Constitution is also reflected in the messages of Guru Ghasidas Baba. He mentioned Panthi, in which all the preaching is written in the Chhattisgarhi language. This shows that Baba Guru Ghasidas has worked in Chhattisgarh and has also increased the pride of Chhattisgarh.
Addressing the people, he said that the fourth installment of Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana will be released to the farmers by March 31. He said that the government is working towards making schools a better place for learning with the renovation and necessary actions. Schools will be renovated using cow dung paints for painting. He further said that the Chhattisgarh government is working for bringing positive change in the lives of the people of the region. Better steps are being taken to ensure that the farmers, youth, and citizens of the state prosper so that inclusive development can gain momentum.
On this occasion, Vice President of Durg District Panchayat Mr. Ashok Sahu, OSD Mr. Ashish Verma, other public representatives and villagers were present.
