Chief Minister, Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, attended the 6th Raj Adhiveshan of Dharsinwa Raj Kurmi Kshatriya Samaj, which was held in Tarpongi village, Tilda development block, Raipur district. He began the program by paying tribute to society’s forefathers.

Meanwhile, Mr. Baghel, speaking at the conference, stated that the current generation will not forgive us if we do not realize our forefathers’ ambitions. The administration is dedicated to realizing the forefathers’ dreams. Along with this, he stated that education is essential for societal development. Our administration is working hard to ensure that children receive a high-quality education.

During his address to the program, he stated that numerous plans are being launched to improve the economic status of the state’s farmers. The government is dedicated to paying farmers a fair price for their produce. Farmers receive Rs 9,000 per acre under the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana. Similarly, the Godhan Nyay Yojana provides advantages to the locals. Cow dung is being obtained to aid cattle rearers as well. Females in Gauthans are producing vermicompost. Farmers should make the most of it. This will improve the soil’s quality as well as the crop’s quality. Swami Atmanand English medium schools are being opened in every village of the state to provide education to the children in English medium. On the occasion, the Chief Minister announced Swami Atmanand English Schools at Tarpongi and Barbanda, while an amount of Rs 30 lakh for building at Tivaraiya, and for the installation of Swami Atmanand’s statue at Zero Point Assembly.

On this occasion, Dharsinwa MLA Mrs. Anita Yogendra Sharma, District Panchayat President Mrs. Domeshwari Verma, former Rajya Sabha MP Mrs. Chhaya Verma, Chairman of Chhattisgarh State Text Book Corporation Mr. Shailesh Nitin Trivedi, Chairman of Chhattisgarh State Mineral Development Corporation Mr. Girish Dewangan, former MLA Mr. Janakram Verma, Collector Dr. Sarveshwar Bhure, SSP Mr. Prashant Agarwal along with other public representatives and office bearers of the society were present.

Meanwhile, while addressing the gathering, the Central President of Kurmi Kshatriya Samaj, Mr. Chow Ram Verma, stated that we are glad that our Chief Minister is a descendant of the Kurmi community and that the leader of this state shares the same clan with our community. In addition, he expressed gratitude on behalf of the entire Kurmi community and the backward classes for granting the backward classes a 27 percent reservation.
