Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel today participated in the program ‘Badal Ge Chhattisgarh, Sanwar Ke Chhattisgarh’ of the TV channel Swaraj Express. On this occasion, the Chief Minister said that the work done by our government so far has instilled confidence in the people of Chhattisgarh, be it economic, cultural,social or other fields.  The Chief Minister said that extensive work has been done in the fields of health,agriculture, education, culture and tradition which has raised the Chhattisgarh’s flag of rural and urban development  all over the world. He further said that the Chhattisgarh model created to provide justice,be it public welfare schemes of heath,education,agriculture,etc that are being discussed everywhere. The Chhattisgarh model has carved a new  Chhattisgarh that has benefitted all sections of the society equally.  The state government  has worked for the farmers with schemes like loan waiver, increase in support price and Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana. The purchasing power of the people of the urban and rural areas of the state has increased. He continued,The result of our work is that last year 15 lakh farmers were benefited by the schemes of the state government, wheareas  26 lakh farmers are getting benefitted cutrently. Mr. Baghel said that Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi has also appreciated our schemes and works in the meeting of NITI Aayog.

Talking about the Godhan Nyay Yojana, Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel said that this scheme is providing proper shelters for the livestock that has curbed down the problem of stray cattle roaming unnecessarily. At the same time, income is being generated for the rural populace by selling cow dung, as well as vermicompost and paints are also being made from  cow dung and electricity is also being generated with the help of bio gas plants. In the coming times, if there is a shortage of conventional means of energy, then there will be an option to make electricity from wind, water, solar energy as well as cow dung.

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel said that we started work with the policy of inclusive development, trust, security, due to which Naxal incidents are drastically coming down. We gave work to the of youth of Naxal affected areas. Also,they started to realise that  roads are the need of the hour to connect them with different avenues of development,hence the tribal populace is participating in other construction works in their areas including the road. We made a new industry policy, with our policy, no industry becomes NPA, we started focusing in small scale cottage industries as well. As a result of which, many people are getting employment and livelihood from it.
