In his address at Bhent-Mulaqat, Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel said that establishing Chhattisgarh was our ancestors’ dream. We made it our top priority to ensure the prosperity and development of our farmers.
Loan cancellation was promised in the election campaign, and as soon as the new administration took charge, the loan of 19 lakh farmers’ totaling 9500 thousand crore rupee was waived off.
He stated that once Chhattisgarh was formed, effective measures were taken to enhance the situation of farmers. In addition to the fair price for paddy, other crops also received support prices.
For the first year, paddy was purchased for Rs 2500 per quintal; however, there are now even more fair prices available for the purchase of paddy.
