Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel offered worship to Lord Shiva at the Tapeshwar Mahadev Temple located in Tatapani and sought the blessings of Mahadev for the happiness and prosperity of the state’s residents. After conducting Pradakshina at the Dwadash Jyotirling situated at the temple premises, he offered flowers and paid obeisance to the giant idol of Tapeshwar Mahadev.
Chief Minister reached Tatapani to participate in the launch event of Sankranti Parab Tatapani Mahotsav on Makar Sankranti.
Enjoyed the Kite festival – The Chief Minister enjoyed flying kites with the children of Swami Atmanand School. Feeling nostalgic while holding the Manjha after 14 years, he said that flying a kite is a unique experience.
Relished Tilkut – The Chief Minister relished the taste of Tilkut and Til Laddu while sitting on a Charpai on the temple premises. Traditionally, besides conducting charity on the day of Makar Sankranti, delicacies like Tilkut and Til Laddu are also enjoyed.

On this occasion, School Education Minister Mr. Premsay Singh Tekam, Parliamentary Secretary and Samri MLA Mr. Chintamani Maharaj, Vice President of Sarguja Development Authority Mr. Vrihaspat Singh, Director of Apex Bank Mr. Ajay Bansal, Collector Mr. Vijay Dayaram, Police Superintendent Mr. Mohit Garg, and other local public representatives and officers were also present.
