Under the National Education Policy, a new beginning has been made this year with the Navbharat Literacy Program, which will be conducted for five years. It focuses on basic literacy and numeracy, important life skills like digital literacy, financial literacy, legal literacy, electoral literacy, vocational skill development, basic education, lifelong education, health and sanitation etc are included.
On the occasion of International Literacy Day, Mr. Baghel has called upon the people of the state to participate actively in the program and move towards digital literacy, awareness and attaining life-long education, making Chhattisgarh 100% literate. We have to touch new dimensions of literacy so that we can explore the road to development better. New achievements of literacy will ensure golden future of the state and we will fulfill the goal of creating a new Chhattisgarh ie, Gadbo Nava Chhattisgarh.
