Lauded farmer friendly policies of Chhattisgarh government

The delegation of Akhil Bhartiya Kurmi Kshatriya Mahasabha paid a courtesy call on Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel at his residence office here late on Saturday. The delegation congratulated the Chief Minister on completion of 4 years tenure of his government in Chhattisgarh.

On this occasion, representatives of the comments from various states including Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar expressed gratitude towards the Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel for the works being done by the Government of Chhattisgarh in the interest of the farmers.

Addressing the gathering on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that soon after the formation of our government in Chhattisgarh, we first took important decisions in the interest of the farmers including farm loan waiver and giving highest support price for paddy procurement in the country. Policies were made for the welfare of all sections including farmers, laborers, women, tribals in Chhattisgarh, giving them a better opportunity to move forward. This resulted in curbing migration of workers with increased employment opportunities at village level. The income of people of every class has increased in the state. The state is becoming prosperous.

He added that we are realizing Mahatma Gandhi’s vision of ‘Gram Swaraj’ in Chhattisgarh. Means of livelihood have been made available to the people in every village, due to which they have got a good source of income.

Speaking about his recent courtesy meeting with a delegation of farmers from Thanjavur in Tamil Nadu, he said that the farmers had expressed their gratitude for the farmer friendly decisions being taken by the government in Chhattisgarh.

Akhil Bhartiya Kurmi Kshatriya Mahasabha President Shri Sarvesh Katihar along with members including Shri Uttam Prakash Singh, Shri Umakant Verma, Shri Chandra Bhushan Verma, Smt. Rashmi Singh, Smt. Sarita Verma, Smt. Saroj Patel, Shri Prahlad Patel, Shri Sadanand, Shri K. Srinivas , Shri Umesh Babu, Shri Viswanathan, Shri Amar Bahadur Patel, Shri Sachin Patel were present on the occasion.
