The Chief Minister attended the Raipur Press Club’s New Year’s Evening meeting.

Thanked media for spreading the topic about the Chhattisgarh model throughout the country and around the world.

Chief Minister, Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, attended the New Year’s Evening meeting at the Raipur Press Club. While applauding and wishing journalists a happy new year, he stated that with the help of journalists, the topic of the Chhattisgarh model has reached the country and the world. He expressed gratitude to the journalists. The Chief Minister stated that the media took an active role even during the difficult times of the Corona pandemic. Many journalists died as a result of this. He paid tribute to the journalists who died early during the Corona crisis and offered his sympathies to their families.

Chief Minister Mr. Baghel stated at the New Year meeting that the Chhattisgarh government is always ready to help journalists. The journalist security law proposed here will become an example for the whole country. He also said that on the demand of the Press Club, he would consider giving exemption in interest on the home loans of journalists. Mr. Baghel released the calendar for the year 2023 published by Satpura Wildlife Foundation and Dainik Vishwa Parivar newspaper at the function. Senior journalists Mr. Asif Iqbal and Mr. Rajkumar Soni also addressed the function. President of Raipur Press Club Mr. Damu Ambedare expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel for providing financial assistance to the families of journalists who lost their lives due to Covid-19, providing accommodation to journalists, and for considering the demands of the Press Club sensitively.

On this occasion, Parliamentary Secretary Mr. Vikas Upadhyay, Chairman of Chhattisgarh Text Book Corporation Mr. Shailesh Nitin Trivedi, Mayor of Raipur Municipal Corporation Mr. Aijaz Dhebar, Chairman Mr. Pramod Dubey, President of Indian Medical Association Raipur Dr. Rakesh Gupta, Collector Mr. Sarveshwar Narendra Bhure, Director of Public Relations Mr. Saumil Ranjan Choubey, Additional Directors Mr. Umesh Mishra and Mr. Sanjeev Tiwari, Treasurer of Press Club Ms. Shagufta Shireen were present along with other senior journalists of capital.
