The Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel will gift 46 different development works worth Rs. 540 crores 32 lakh 98 thousand to the residents of the newly-formed district Sarangarh – Bilaigarh on 3 September. This will include the inauguration of 20 works to be constructed for Rs. 28 crores 3 lakh 1 thousand and the Bhoomipujan of 26 works to be constructed for Rs. 512 crores 29 lakh 97 thousand.
It also includes 12 inauguration works worth Rs. 27 crores 76 lakh 26 thousand and 12 Bhoomipujan works worth Rs. 484 crores 82 lakh 39 thousand in Sarangarh. Similarly, 8 inaugurations worth Rs. 26 lakh 75 thousand and 14 Bhoomipujan works worth Rs. 27 crores 47 lakh 58 thousand in Bilaigarh are also included.
The works inaugurated by the Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel will include a 50-seater Tribal Girls Hostel built by the Tribal Development Department under the Sarangarh development block at the cost of Rs. 1 crore 52 thousand 97 hundred, an irrigation drain built in Bageendih and Kapartunga in 4 works under the MGNREGA at the cost of Rs. 78 lakh 29 thousand in Sarangarh, check dam construction in Amaldeeha and pier construction work in Ramtek, environmental garden built in Sarangarh by the Water Resources Department for Rs. 5 crores 78 lakh, 4 works worth Rs. 3 crores 44 lakh including the High School building construction in Porath, Pidkideepa, Pendri, and Dongripali under the Education Department in Baramkela and Sarangarh, 2 works worth Rs. 16 lakh 23 thousand in Sarangarh including the construction of a bridge over a drain near the Banjari Temple and a culvert construction in Devdarha. Similarly, 5 works at the cost of Rs. 2631 lakh 31 thousand by the Chhattisgarh Rural Road Development Agency in the Bilaigarh Development Block, Mukhyamantri Haat-Bazaar Clinic Shed construction work for Rs. 3 lakh 99 thousand in Village Panchayat Rohina in Bilaigarh under the District Mineral Foundation Trust, inauguration work of Barrack construction for army soldiers in Thana Saliha and Bhatgaon by Police Department are also included.
The works for which the Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel will perform Bhoomipujan include 5 works for Rs. 471 crores 5 lakh of retrofitting and tap water supply by the Public Health Engineering Department, access road construction work in 5 different places at the cost of Rs. 13 crores 39 lakh by the Public Works Department in Sarangarh, compound construction in Naurangpur for Rs. 19 lakh 98 thousand in Sarangarh and CC road with security wall construction work at the cost of Rs. 18 lakh 41 thousand under the MGNREGA in Bhadisar village. Similarly, works related to the water tank, and pipeline, at the cost of Rs. 24 crores 47 lakh 58 thousand in 13 places in Bilaigarh under the Public Health Engineering Department and the Bhoomipujan work for the Biodiversity Park in Bilaigarh at the cost of Rs. 3 crores by the Forest Department.
